This is an operating manual produced for the Navstar SA 602D (DECCA) Navigator. It is associated with ZBA9310 but is a different model in the series. The two different models relied on competing technologies - Decca and Transit - that operated at the same time in the mid-1980s. Made in 1985 by Navstar Systems, the ‘Navstar 602D’ offered the commercial marine market the first DECCA-compatible unit but at a lower cost than official DECCA machines. Small, simple to operate and economical, the 602D was used by commercial fishermen.
