There are 6 crewmen standing on top of the parcels of timbers just forward of the superstructure on the port and starboard sides. There is a coastline in the far background. This is Slide 33 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the bulk carrier London Explorer [ex Overseas Explorer] (1959), owned by London & Overseas Freighters Ltd. from 11 July 1972 to 16 October 1972. The series consists of 39 slides.
