Covered parcels of sawn timber on board the bulk carrier London Explorer [ex Overseas Explorer] (1959) at sea. There are parcels of sawn timber covered with green tarpaulins on the port and starboard side of the deck extending from the bridge to the aft superstructure. A crewman is standing next ot the centre line walkway in the middle ground. The aft superstructure and funnel anre in the background. This is Slide 35 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the bulk carrier London Explorer [ex Overseas Explorer] (1959), owned by London & Overseas Freighters Ltd. from 11 July 1972 to 16 October 1972. The series consists of 39 slides.
