Cape Town Main Train Station in Cape Town, South Africa. The photographer is stand on the far side of Adderley Street looking south by southeast towards to the station. A set of music note and treble clef lights are attached to a wire which extend across the street on the right hand side. The station itself is in the middle ground. A partial view of Table Mountain is in the far background. This is Slide 16 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Chief Officer on board the fishing stern motor trawler Salvia (1972) owned by Irving & Johnstone of Cape Town from 11 December 1972 to 8 January 1973. The series consists of 21 slides.
