A 1:64(?) Scale Navy Board model of a British 4th rate 50-58 gun warship c1707-19.
A contemporary full hull model of a 50-58gun two-decker (circa 1707-19), built plank on frame in the Navy Board style. Model is decked, planked, fully equipped and rigged(detached and later).
Of particular interest is the curved beakhead bulkhead which only appears on a handfull of models of this period one of which is a royal yacht dated slightly earlier of c.1685(SLR0375).The masts and spars, some of which are detached, date from a slightly later perod and are post the1719 rigging establishment.
