A port side near beam aft of the spritsail barge Cambria (1906) taken from the quayside in Rochester, Kent. The photographer is standing on the quayside looking south west. The main and mizzen masts are both dressed. Small craft are moored on both sides of the river. The town of Strood is on the opposite bank in the background. This is Slide 34 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as supernumerary Second Officer on board the sand suction dredger Sand Swan (1970) and eventually Chief Officer on the sand suction dredger Sand Skua (1971) owned by the South Coast Shipping Co. Ltd. from 6 May 1973 to 27 June 1973.
