Two oil tankers are berthed at the jetty for the oil refinery in the background. This is Slide 22 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as summer relief Chief Officer on board various ferries operated by Red Funnel (also known as Southampton, Isle of Wight and South of England Royal Mail Steam Packet Company Limited) from 27th July 1973 until late August 1973. This series consists of 25 slides.
