No. 2 and 3 hatches are in the foreground hatch is in the foreground of the vessel. Two sets of yellow and red metal barrels are lashed together either side of the main mast This image shows the aft part of the ship before it was painted by the crew. A lifeboat is held in its davits either side of the yellow and black funnel on the boat deck. This is Slide 5 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Chief Officer for the coaster King On [ex- Stability] (1949) owned by Everards of Greenhithe from 24 October 1973 to 3 January 1974. This series consists of 49 slides.
