A just off starboard bow view of the bulbous bow of the container ship Nedlloyd Maretania (1977) berthed at a quayside at Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni, Iran. The photographer is standing on the quayside just in front of the bow. The ship is painted black above the water and red below it. The draft marks are on the bow. This is Slide 4 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer for the container ship Nedlloyd Maretania (1977) owned by H. Janssen of Bad Zwischenahn, Germany and chartered by the Royal Nedlloyd Group shipping company of Rotterdam from 9 June 1978 to 26 July 1978. This series consists of 53 slides.
