A view of three Korean labourers loading containers onto the container ship Nedlloyd Maretania (1977) berthed at Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The photographer is standing on the starboard side of the ship looking forward and to port. 1 labourer is standing on top of the container as it isd lowered into the cell. The other two labourers are assisting to guide the container into the correct cell.. Several of the container cells are full whilst others are empty. This is Slide 29 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer for the container ship Nedlloyd Maretania (1977) owned by H. Janssen of Bad Zwischenahn, Germany and chartered by the Royal Nedlloyd Group shipping company of Rotterdam from 9 June 1978 to 26 July 1978. This series consists of 53 slides.
