A group portrait of the deck crew taken from on board the container ship Nedlloyd Maretania (1977). It consists of seven crew members, 3 of which are kneeling whilst the remaining 4 are standing and they are all looking at the photographer. The crewman standing on the far left is named Carlo and is said to be from from Chile. The crewman standing second from the left is the bosun Oscar Reyes, who is said to be an Arauca Indian from Chile. The second from right standing crewman is named Anver, who is said from Sri Lanka. The far right standing crewman is deckhand Luis Enrique, who is said to be an Incan from Ecuador. The far left kneeling crewman is Carlos Kiltau who is said to be from Argentina. The middle kneeling crewman is named David and is said to be from Chile. The far right kneeling crewman is the deckfitter Danilo Luis, who issaid to be a Native American from Chile.

This is Slide 34 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer for the container ship Nedlloyd Maretania (1977) owned by H. Janssen of Bad Zwischenahn, Germany and chartered by the Royal Nedlloyd Group shipping company of Rotterdam from 9 June 1978 to 26 July 1978. This series consists of 53 slides.
