A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Lowestoft trawler Irene (1892) aground on North Beach, Lowestoft, Suffolk. Port fishery registration LT.976. She is laying over to port and all of her canvas and running rigging have been stripped off. Two men are aboard and a dinghy is alongside her bow. She was wrecked 27 Jun. 1925 when outward bound in a strong north-east wind and heavy seas. Negatives numbers P75240 to P75242 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
