A distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Lowestoft trawler Irene (1892) aground on North Beach, Lowestoft, Suffolk. Port fishery registration LT.976. She is laying over to port and all of her canvas and running rigging have been stripped off. She was wrecked 27 Jun. 1925 when outward bound in a strong north-east wind and heavy seas. Negatives numbers P75240 to P75242 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
