The outer harbour at Ramsgate, Kent
A line of Ramsgate registered ketch rigged trawling smacks dried out in the outer harbour at Ramsgate, Kent. They are seen from wide off the port bow, all listing to starboard and they are the W.E. (1909) R152, Sweet Hope (1902) R185, Rhodora (1908) R257, Leonora (1897) R160 and Peace (1902) R15. The Rhodora (1908) is having her hull payed. Alongside the breakwater in the background is the Board of Trade paddle tug Aid (1889). A copy negative of a photographic print.
