Looking down on two Galway hookers alongside an unidentified quayside on the west coast of Ireland. They are the larger type of hooker known as Bad Mor or Leathbhad with a deck forward of the mast. The photographer is on the quayside abreast the port quarter of the inner boat looking forward and to starboard. The sterns, masts and bowsprits of both boats are out on the picture.
