A starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the ironpot spritsail barge G.C.B. (1907) fitting out on the River Medway foreshore at S.J. Brice's Point Yard, Rochester, Kent. The top of her mast is out of the picture. There is another spritsail barge alongside her. In the background is St Margaret's Church in St Margaret's Street. The square tower is 15th century but the remaining medieval part of the church was demolished and completely rebuilt to a modern design by 1840. Vertical format. A copy negative of a photographic print.
