A fun day on the water on the River Colne, Essex. A long line of various types of sailing craft at moorings stretches into the distance, many of the craft being dressed overall. In the centre is the spritsail barge Volunteer (1879) with a long round pole projecting out from her starboard beam. Very slightly unsharp. Vertical format.
