St Michael's Mount State Barge

The St Michael's Mount State Barge is seen from the port side viewed from the harbour wall of the Mount, moored afloat with main and mizzen masts stepped. Nearer the camera alongside is an identical barge without masts, and even nearer, a ca. 12ft clinker-built rowing punt. The inboard sides of all three vessels' transoms are adorned with a coat of arms combining the emblem of the St. Aubyn family on the left and that of the Mt. Edgecumbe family on the right. The crest on the bows of the boats is the St. Levan blazon.
