St Michael's Mount State Barge
The St Michael's Mount State Barge is viewed from near ground level and from the starboard bow quarter, aground and heeled to starboard at low tide in St. Michael's Mount harbour, with main and mizzen masts stepped. To the left alongside is an identical barge aground and even-keeled on chocks, seen bow-on with one pole, but no rigging, rising from its centre line. In the distance behind these boats is a further gig aground near the opposite harbour wall.
