Sennen Cove crabbers, etc.

Ashore in Sennen harbour, viewed from their port stern quarters, are from left to right a clinker-built gig with nets drying on her port gunwale; a smaller clinker-built punt ca. 12ft in length with the groove for its 'scullying' sweep atop its transom; and a deep-keeled, carvel-built crabber over 20ft in length with a circular hole in its transom which would bear the mizzen sail's bumkin when the boat was rigged.
