Deal lugger and mizzen punts, sprat boats

The clinker-built Deal punt in this image is the same boat photographed in negative P74988, shown on chocks ashore at Deal, viewed from the port stern quarter. The boat's mizzen mast is stepped just to the starboard of the rudder pintles on the transom, and its mainmast lies fore-and-aft on thwarts with the masthead extending over the transom.
