The Walmer galley Happy-Go-Lucky is seen in this photograph stern-on, resting on chocks on the beach at Walmer. Kinks in the topsides planking are visible on the port and starboard sides some 3ft ahead of the transom. To the right and beyond are the bows of three galley punts on the beach.
