Hythe, Kent fishing vessels

The stern quarter of a Hythe fishing boat (regd FE46) is shown with the owners' names W. & H.Griggs written below the name Gratitude of Hythe on the curved transom. Nearer the bow stands a wooden ladder against the gunwale, next to the net hanging between two trawl boards. The Gratitude's main- and mizzenmasts are stepped, as is the bumkin astern, and the mizzen is brailed to its mast.
