The Whitewings is seen beached at Selsey with the bow of the unrigged hull of a similar crabber beyond and the bows of two further crabbers to the right of the image. By the keel of the Whitewings are two wicker crab pots, and miscellaneous fishing gear. The boat is supported with legs lashed to the gunwale at the transom and at the shrouds.
