A clinker-built Selsey galley is seen beached, from the starboard side. The boat, approx. 30ft long, has 10 rowing positions and no rig. Cloths or sails, hard to identify which from the negative, hang over the starboard gunwale. Beyond the galley are several crabbers and beach huts.
