Seen from the port bow quarter, a Maldon smack regd MN9, boom and furled mainsail hanging over the port stern quarter and nets hanging from the gaff above the image's top margin, lies aground at low tide on the shore at Maldon. Fastened to the smack's port shrouds is a sign, "Live fish for sale". The boat is some 35ft LOD.
