Tenby luggers

This photograph shows the carvel-built Tenby luggers La Mascotand Primrose (these names are not visibly painted on the boats) resting aground on legs in Tenby harbour. The view, from the boats' rear starboard quarters, shows both to have auxiliary power, although both also remain rigged with main masts, and mizzen masts stepped to starboard of their transoms' centre lines. The leading edges of both boats' rudders have large cut-outs to accommodate their propellers.
