Zulu, dandy-rigged
An approx. 80ft L.O.D. dandy-rigged zulu regd LK40 is viewed from the starboard side, sailing in a light wind in an unknown location. A loose-footed gaff mizzen of modest dimensions is sheeted to a bumkin projecting far beyond the zulu's steeply-raked canoe stern. The boat's bowsprit is in place but no jib is set from it; a staysail is rigged to the stem. The high-peaked gaff mainsail is not laced to the boom. On deck a crew of five tend to the boat's nets heaped on deck.
