Selsey half-decked fishing boat L16 Molly
A carvel-built auxiliary Selsey fishing boat, the Molly, regd LI6, is viewed here from astern, supported on legs on shingle at Selsey. This view is marginally closer-up compared to the otherwise identical scene shown in neg. P75642. The Molly's transom above a three-blade propeller bears its name, home port of Littlehampton, and its owners' names, E.J. & W.C. Homer. The view shows the deep keel and relatively fine lines of the type. Crab pots are heaped up on either side of the keel.
