Selsey half-decked fishing boat L16 Molly
The carvel-built auxiliary Selsey fishing boat, the Molly, regd. L16, is viewed here bow-on, supported on legs on shingle at Selsey. The view emphasises the deep keel and fine lines of the type. From this angle it can be seen that the ring housing the bowsprit at the stemhead is in place, and the bobstay is fastened to the stem, its other end tied to a rope suspended over the port bow.
