This port beam view of the Selsey crabber Cuendolen, regd LI49, laid up unrigged, and supported by a cradle on shingle in Littlehampton harbour, calls into question the single date recorded by H. Oliver Hill in the 'S' notebook for the series of negatives bearing the number 371, i.e. 14th November 1944, since in the negatives P75667-P75670, and P75672-P75676 of the same date and notebook number the boat is seen fully rigged and in use. This image shows the relatively shallow and full hull form of the boat, whose rudder is still shipped. No other equipment besides the rudder is visible.
