The Selsey crabber Cuendolen regd. LI49, is seen from some 200ft away ashore, at anchor in Littlehampton harbour, the port bow quarter nearest to the camera. Behind, timber baulks protect the quayside, on which rests the hull of a boat of a shape similar to the Cuendolen's, and a large heap of shingle. On the landward side of this quay is a terrace of 19th century harbourside cottages.
