A carvel-built fishing boat regd P53, ca. 20ft LOD, is seen moored in Portsmouth Harbour from the port bow quarter, rafted up to a similar vessel to starboard. P53's bowsprit has been fully withdrawn, and the neighbouring boat's partially so. Behind stands a large weatherboarded, tin-roofed quayside warehouse. The view emphasises the full hull shape of P53 and the neighbouring boat, with their nearly-straight stems, reinforced gunwales and rubbing strakes.
