The main subject of this negative is a Portsmouth fishing boat regd. P151, which dominates the foreground. The boat, moored in harbour, is seen from above and ahead of the stem, but although the boat is photographed in close up, the quality of the image in negative is such that much detail of structures on deck, etc., is lost. Cranes on the quayside reach out from the quay astern of the boat.
