Emsworth fishing lugger

A clinker-built Emsworth lugger of some 20ft LOD is moored aground and viewed from the starboard side. The boat is heeled to starboard, hence its long sternsheets and two thwarts are visible, as is the foredeck. Spars are laid fore-and-aft along the starboard gunwale. Each gunwale is positioned forward of rowlocks, allowing for two sets of oars. The date given is according to negatives index P.70000-P.79999; the negative is undated in H.O. Hill's notebook.
