Emsworth luggers

A clinker-built Emsworth lugger ca 20ft LOD afloat on a mooring by a muddy bank is seen from the port side. Its mast carries a forestay and halyard which serves as a shroud when underway. A long spar hangs over the stern, and nets overhang both bow and stern. Thole pins for two rowing positions are in place. In the distance are shoreline buildings of Emsworth and other moored boats, of which one is a gaff-rigged boat of pronounced sheer and some 30ft in length.
