Ramsgate
The town quay of Ramsgate harbour is on the left of this view with a crane, wheels chocked, on the quayside in the foreground in front of harbourside buildings and moored boats. Immediately ahead in the foreground are four carvel-built, gaff-rigged boats, the one nearest the camera and the quay being ketch-rigged, three others being cutters. Against the next boat to the right, with fishing nets suspended from its standing rigging, is rafted a smaller, inshore open boat, also carvel-built.
