Blyth, Northumberland, coble under repair

Coble BH39 is seen from the port side under repair on the ground outside a shed at Blyth. Compared to its bow section, the shallowness of the aft section, with a raked rudder deeper than the keel, is emphasised by the image's perspective . On the sheer plank is written the number 33, slightly forward of amidships, whereas the registration number BH39 is written on the plank below, at the bow.
