Blyth, Northumberland, coble under repair
Coble BH39 is seen from the port stern quarter under repair on the ground outside a shed at Blyth. The sheer planks on both port and starboard sides await replacement after removal, with the strong sawn timbers thus exposed, particularly that at the transom, emphasising the tumble home of the coble's stern section. Behind the starboard planking stands the same boatbuilder featured in negative P76101.
