Blyth, Northumberland, coble repaired
The repaired coble BH39 is seen here from above and forward of the stem head, the view aft showing which planks and sawn timbers have been replaced and painted. The perspective shows the sheer strake's pronounced tumble home, even forward of amidships, and the sharp curves of the sheerline towards the bow and stern at the point of the hull's maximum beam.
