Cromer crab boat Alice

The apparently (and if so, unusually) carvel-built double-ended Cromer crab boat Alice, ca. 18ft, is viewed beached and heeled to starboard, with two fishermen leaning on the starboard gunwale at the bow. A pair of oars rests across three thwarts. Square holes for three pairs of thole pins are cut into the sheer strake. On the sternpost is a long curved pintle for the boat's rudder, which has been unshipped. The boat carries no mast or rigging.
