Eastbourne lugger Star of the East

This view of the Eastbourne lugger Star of the East, regd NN66, is from fractonally to the right of bow-on, so that the mizzen mast is almost hidden by the foremast. The boat, resting on chocks, is fixed to the windlass chain which has hauled it up the beach. The view accentuates the full form and flat floors of the boat amidships. Nets hang over the boat's port gunwale.
