Hastings lugger RX 94 Industry
The Hastings lugger Industry, regd RX94, is seen beached at Hastings, viewed from the port side, forward of amidships. The view of the clinker planking along the boat's length emphasises the type's full section amidships and fine lines at the bow, and the auxiliary engine's propeller is visible. Both masts are stepped and the furled mizzen is ready for hoisting with the halyard to starboard. A lamp hangs from the mizzen mast, and to port, a block and tackle from the mast is attached to an unidentified piece of equipment. The main halyard is secured to port of the foremast. The forestay is fixed to a jib outhaul ring. To the left of the Industry is the stern of another, similar vessel, while the bowsprit of the neighbouring boat to port extends towards the camera.
