St Ives pilchard driver Agnes. Last sailing pilchard driver fishing from Newlyn

The Agnes, a St Ives pilchard driver regd SS464, purported to be the last of its type to work under sail, is seen from a punt approx. 70ft astern of its starboard stern quarter, becalmed on a port reach on smooth water. Its sails hang slack. One crew member is visible besides the helmsman, working a sweep over the starboard gunwale aft of the foremast.
