St Ives mackerel driver Nannie Noall hauled up at Lelant
A St Ives mackerel driver, the Nannie Noall, regd SS625, is hauled up aground at Lelant, viewed from the ground at its starboard bow. It is heeled slightly to port, away from the camera. Its fore- and mizzen masts are stepped, the former with no rigging, the latter stayed and with boom and toplift in place. A small wheelhouse has been fitted before the mizzen mast, and a narrow chimney pipe extends from the deck in front of it. On the starboard side of the stemhead is a circular hole as if for a bowsprit. Mooring chains run over the gunwale on either side of the stem. One rope fender hangs over the starboard gunwale amidships.
