A port near broadside view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Royal Navy first class Torpedo Boat 79 (1886) at moorings in Holyhead harbour. She has been rebuilt with two funnels instead of one and her seaboat is swung out ready for lowering. A City of Dublin Steam Packet Co passenger ferry of the Leinster (1897) class is in the background.
