The figure facing left at the extreme right of the picture appears to be Lord Louis Mountbatten.
John Thomas Young Gilroy (1898-1985) was a commercial artist, creating images for Guinness and the Ministry of Information among others, and a portrait painter of prominent royal and public figures.
