Hong Kong harbour

A general view of Hong Kong harbour from seaward. A British flagged 2 masted and 2 funneled paddle liner is at moorings in the left foreground. This is possibly the Elgin of the China & Japan Steam Navigation Co. In the background right of centre is the Royal Navy's flagship Rodney (1833) and on the extreme right is the receiving ship Princess Charlotte (1825). A copy negative made by the NMM studio of photographic print 318 in album 29.
