British Tanker Company tankers at Abadan, Iran
A number of tankers owned by the British Tanker Company at the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company's installation at Abadan in the Persian Gulf. Three tankers are alongside loading while another three are in midstream waiting. The tanker alongside the jetty just right of centre is the British Fortitude (1937). A copy negative made by the NMM studio of a slightly grubby photographic print.
