Market women in Jamaica

A black and white landscape photograph of eight Jamacian women and a Jamacian man with baskets of fruit. Five of the women and the man are standing and three of the women are sat on the ground. Most of the women wear dresses down to their ankles and patterned headwraps. The woman to the right of the image is barefoot. All the women are facing towards the left of the image but the man is looking towards the camera. The baskets, a mixture of round a square wickerwork, are on the ground in front of the group. They contain bananas or plantain and other fruit, arranged for display. Original caption (in pencil, beneath): 'Market at Kingston Jamacia'.
